• Typical Examples: Desk, credenza, bookcase, cabinet, wardrobe, reception, accessories, metal parts, KD or RTA furniture etc.
  • Scope: Office and institutional furniture, kitchen cabinets

It is a powerful service for the panel-based furniture that is typically manufactured by CNC machines. We first build a digital 3D model with all the parts required to build the actual product. We then use this model to generate subsequent manufacturing data and drawings for precise and fast production.

Autodesk Inventor allows reading and writing of existing DWG files without risking inaccurate translations. Hence, these services are suitable for both Inventor and AutoCAD users.

3D Parametric Modeling (by Inventor)
This accurate, production-ready 3D computer model reduces the time required to bring the product to the market with fewer physical prototypes. The parametric nature allows us to easily modify the size and shape of the product by changing the values of the parameters, without the hassle of re-drawing. All the necessary drawings and documents, such as presentation drawings, engineering drawings, part drawings, assembly instructions, and BOMs can be generated or updated directly from this 3D model. This helps to reduce time, error and associated prior to manufacture. We can either create models from your hand sketches or upgrade your existing DWG drawings.

3D Presentation Drawing (by Inventor)
If you are building a set of furniture within an area, this drawing illustrates how the furniture will be laid out. It allows your clients to clearly understand concepts and shortens the approval process. This drawing also let the installer carry out their job with ease and minimizes costly mistakes.

2D Shop Drawing (by Inventor)
Shop drawing is also known as working drawing or engineering drawing and contains the plan, elevation, section and detail. It is highly detailed to show the construction and to ensure the product is properly engineered. It is essential for client approval and production.

Exploded Drawing & BOM (by Inventor)

This drawing explodes all the parts of a work piece. Specific part numbers identify each part. A part list summarizes the information ¡V such as material, edgebanding detail, weight, etc. ¡V of each part.

CAM-Ready Part Drawings (by Inventor)
It is common to use electronic data taken from computer models directly in downstream CNC manufacturing operations; it is the time requires the output of 2D engineering drawings from the computer models of the individual parts. These part drawings contain the exact machining information of each part and can be directly imported to a CAM system for CNC programming and nesting.

Bill of Material (Customized) (by Inventor, Excel)
Manufacturing information can be exported to different BOM templates that are tailor-made to suit your plant. The BOMs may consist of solid wood, panel, and veneer, panel cutlist, drawer, hardware, etc. and it is necessary to gather the information that is relevant to the corresponding departments of your plant to carry out the job.

3D Assembly Instructions (by Inventor, CorelDraw)
The assembly instruction comes with parts and hardware lists to demonstrate to your customers how various parts of a product are assembled. It is ideal for knock-down (KD) or ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture. Video can be prepared for the assembly sequence or to illustrate the moving parts.
